A few random thoughts on the 2019 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I have a few thoughts on the 2019 Bucs after watching their opener.

- Same old Winston. He can make a spectacular play and follow it up with a Clausenesque throw. He will never be consistent. He ended with a 45 QBR.

- Winston could have easily had 5 picks this game.

- Bucs RB Jones looks good. Over 5 yards a carry against the Niners.

- Bucs D looks decent,  especially against the run. Screens ate them up at times. CMC will get another big day.

- Wheels came off for the Bucs D in the third quarter. Must have been a common thing on Sunday .

- Niners had a lot of ticky tack flags thrown. Could have been a blowout.

- Winston panics still. Pressure brings easy picks.

- Mike Evans was mostly invisible.

Bottom line - If Winston had even a half decent game this would have been a Bucs win. However, he mostly look awful.

in other words same old bucs, biggest key to me is stop the run game and force Jameis to play consistently great to beat us.

Jameis is guaranteed at least three wtf throws per game as well, hopefully those all end up in our hands

oh and feed curtis samuel

Just don’t know after watching what we saw Sunday. Their rb looks legit, they did a decent job of stopping the run.

Knowing Arian’s penchant for going aerial and leaving the qb on an island our rushers should feast.. that being said Ron has a hard time taking advantage of other team’s weaknesses.

Unlike week one this is a division game... if you’re expecting a blowout you will probably be disappointed.

oh yeh... this is a must win game. No other way to look at it
