As much as I hate his ass Belichick grinds and expects his players to grind. They have a singular focus and that's how it should be.

I know this is going to sound really dumb but as soon as I saw the post and pics of CMC just chillen with his girl at the pool during the bye week, I figured we would lose in this fashion.

Carolina fans deserve better. We need Tepper to step up as the owner of the Carolina Panthers. Stop dicking around being a business man in Charlotte trying to bring in more businesses. Hurney and Ron need to go after this season for a culture change. We are still living in Jerry Richardson’s footsteps. Nothing has changed. Guys are not being held accountable. Coaches and above are comfortable to the usual. That’s why we stank again after a bye week. 

Shula was not the problem.

We are not making the playoffs. Currently Vikings and Seahawks have the WC and we are nowhere near their level

Our coach:

Is usually outcoached .  Ron only wins when his players beat other players.

Makes stupid decisions that influence players' careers (Cam, CMC).  He relied on Cam running when there were OT and WR issues.  He used plays for Cam to run and did not develop him into a pocket passer (Dorsey, Shula).  He drafted/requested big WRs (that could not catch) because Cam's accuracy was not great (threw high) instead of working on Cam's footwork and timing.  With CMC, he leaves him in the game after it is decided---and gives him the ball.  He throws to him, runs him, and never takes him out.  Expect his career to be a short one--but cutting these careers short helps Ron extend his---

Agreed, but with a win attached.

The 4 game win streak didn't change my mind about Ron or Marty, not in the least.  Cam going down didn't change my mind.  IR'ing players isn't going to change my mind.

Either this crew goes to the playoffs and wins a game, or we start over from scratch.

Goes back to something else I've mentioned before.

There are a fair number of defensive coaches who don't necessarily put a premium on O-Line anyway, but I think part of the rationale for why Rivera doesn't goes back to his old mentor Buddy Ryan.

In its simplest terms, it comes down to saying 'Hey, why put a lot of effort toward the offensive line when you've got a mobile quarterback? We can devote our resources elsewhere and just count on him to bail out and run if the protection breaks down."

That probably sounds good on a surface level, but it's false. And honestly, I'm pretty sure Newton has taken his fair share of unnecessary punishment over the years because of this idea.
