Seahawks were "knocked off their high horse"

McVay’s Rams have beaten them every time they’ve played except for his first game I think.  They may just have their number.  Must be nice being able to beat a divisional opponent consistently

Ask the Falcons how it feels.

The Seahawks beat them earlier this season

We can’t afford it. While I know we still got Burns, Payton forced us to lose pick 77. We lost 8 spots by beating NO. We traded up 10 spots to get Little. SMH, we lost an early 3rd round pick due to that meaningless win.

I don’t want to drop another 8 spots in every round. We don’t need trade ups, we need more talent.

Incorrect.

We need smarter, more creative, better coaching and that starts with the lines.

Drafting higher in the draft does nothing but put a fresher coat of paint on the old jalopy we as fans have been sold a bill of goods as a so-called competitive team.  It's time to rebuild the jalopy from scratch, and that involves switching up the coaching philosophy of this franchise.

No, it’s not incorrect. Had we lost to NO, we would have picked 8 spots higher. Isn’t it more likely that we don’t trade up at all since we moved up 10 to get Little? Heck the Scarlett pick would have been more than enough to move from 39 to 37. Not dropping spots means we could have had pick 77 and taken a G or Bobby Evans at G/T who we had in for a private visit. He’s starting for the Rams and he could have been on the team for no additional cost had we lost to NO. Also, if you want to split hairs our 4th round pick would have been within our 7th rounder away from Maxx Crosby who we also had in for a private visit.

You can use your analogy all you want but there’s always a benefit to higher picks. Switching up the coaching staff (and GM/scouting) is easier with a more talented incoming draft.

It’s not an either or situation. We can shuffle the front office and we can bring more talented players in via the draft. We are done for the year. Winning the last game last year had 0 effect on this season but it did harm our talent pool.

Put another way:

I don't like the tank philosophy because of the damage it causes in the locker room.

Regardless of higher drafted talent, we already have oline talent that's recently drafted that isn't producing, and it's got me thinking Matsko isn't being listened to for whatever reason.

In spite of my distaste for the situation, I do not see another win happening this season, so it's likely you'll get your wish.

I just hope it doesn't take years to pull us out of this nosedive.

If only we hadn't hired Hurney a second time and brought in someone competent.

If only Gettleman hadn't been so weird with so many decisions.

If only Rivera hadn't been kept past his shelf life.

I just thought we'd've had at least one championship with Cam, and now look at us.

Not the first meeting this year
