At the end of the day Cam is cheaper then most starting quarterbacks this year by far.

you bring him back. Maybe he gets back to looking like Cam Newton and the franchise is saved. Maybe he’s 60% at best and is still a top 15 quarterback. Maybe he’s finished and retires at the end of that season.

this year you draft the lines and go out to sign quality depth for the lines and corners.

if there’s some decent FA receivers bring one or 2 in.

If it's not a QB, it needs to be a lineman IMO. I'd prefer an OT, but wouldn't be mad at a DT.

At this point we just need to pick the best player. We have so many holes now. If we move to the 4-3 we need to add DE because Burns, Haynes, and Miller become useless. WR, CB, T, C, MLB, NT, G, and QB could all be argued for first picks because we are so bad at all those positions.

Yeah i would love that but if Isaiah Simmons is on the board I’ll have to go with him .But  In a perfect world Ceedee would be my guy . He’s my draft crush for this year . Last year mine was Brain Burns if that says anything lol i have a good eye for talent esp when it come to wide outs

Same here man. WRs and some HBs are my specialty.

Diggs, Chark, Westbrook, Hopkins were all my favorite WRs in their respective classes. Harmon and Boykin were amount some.of my favorites past year. I didn't buy in on players like Perriman, Dorsett or Austin too. I'm confident in my WR looks, though I've had my fair share of missed (Patterson, and Lattimer also come to mind.)

This year is Lamb.

Every other position I'm hit and miss lmao.

Simmons was going to be an option if Luke retired or not.

-Rhules love for athletes/track background

-Analytics to support said athletic testing/film

-Marty said we explored what it would take to move up for Derwin James

Well Isaiah Simmons is going to massively exceed at the first two in our new scouting department eyes and he's compared his game to a bigger Derwin James.

People won't like it but any player could be the pick and have a justifying argument to back it up. That's just the state of our team.

IDC if we go DT, OT, LB, S, CB, QB we just need players that can get it done.

as we head into the inevitable wasteland of people playing out the played out Need Vs BPA argument up until the draft, it needs mentioning again that have the 7th pick in the draft and there is a trait which trumps both of those things: Positional value.

Quarterback. Defensive line.

That above all else.

Im not taking anyone above andrew thomas if he is available. Only players i would  do that for is burrow and chase and they will both be gone anyway.

It's like we didn't even watch the games. That Left Tackle position killed the offense and hence the team last season. No matter who they put in that position, it dictated the outcome of games. We won when Little/Daley played well. We lost when they looked bad.

We not gonna win next year either. We are not plugging a single hole but multiple. This team needs a long term fix. I am the biggest bpa hater on this board but this season that's exactly what we need to do in a rebuild. Find the next 10 year starter somewhere, just dont blow it.

If we're able to retain a combination of -- Short / Poe (who's still under contract) / McCoy -- I wouldn't have a problem with the Simmons selection -- the guy is a ''NEXT'' level athlete. We have our starting tackles ''most likely'' in Littler and Moton, considering the trade up for Little I'd be surprised if we spent a 1st on a Tackle.

I think we need a LG update over anything currently, I also don't hold the line as responsible for sacks, some of them were due to an inexperienced QB back there 14 of 16 games, these guys paved the way for a 1K rusher I can't take that from them, I'd like to see a healthy OL, but I want to see a Day 2 OG selected.
