must be nice to have a godly amount of capital

meanwhile the Panthers consistently struggle to stay out of top 5 with a poo team year after year let alone failing to do all they can to keep Hurney from doing something stupid with our capital

This OP’s tweet was based on something said back March 9th...it’s just recirculated old “news”....not sure why multiple ppl are tweeting it out today as if it’s a breaking story

This sort of thing happens during normal times, so its only going to increase when there is nothing else to talk about.  The theory that's being used is that you don't trade away perfectly good players for draft picks just to replace them with good players.  You trade away multiple good players to have the ammunition to make sure you can go get that one great player that you want.

    • Man, I havent posted in a while, happy to see the forum is alive and well!  Really excited about this upcoming season, and this draft class!  Lee Hunter will be an instant fan favorite, i might go ahead and purchase his jersey.  Will be interesting to see what we do at Receiver, a lot of talent and a lot of bodies, does XL get traded, or do they give him a shot this season to see what he has?
    • Goings was good too.
    • I appreciate TMo, he has been a rock. Plug and play, set and forget. But there are stories that they ice his knees or knee in game when he goes to the sidelines. If it is that bad that is pretty rough and it probably won’t get better with age and more wear.     You want to pay him, and commit that money, I shouldn’t object. But let’s at least roll him over a year at a time.  He isn’t a particularly good long term gamble.
