Jake is a world class human being and was nothing more than a Jag QB. It's a nice gesture but it's not very realistic.

He had one thing going for him.  Somehow, someway, if the game was within reach with 2 minutes to go, it was basically a guarantee he was going to go down and get you in position to tie or win.

Nowhere near HoF but I'd put him a step or two above JAG, if only because of the sheer magic that Good Jake was capable of. Bad Jake though...

Jake belongs in the Hall of Bojangles, which is arguably more prestigious, but higher in sodium than the normal HOF.

It's a nice gesture for an even nicer guy . . . I'm thrilled he's in the Panthers ring of honor.  No way he even sniffs the HoF in reality, but recognizing one of the really great talents and personalities in the league from that time is super cool.

Not me. That's a Jag. Not bad, not great just another guy. You can't separate bad Jake from good Jake. If he could have then he wouldn't have been a Jag. It was fun at times and we sure could have done worse but he just wasn't more than that.
