I like Teddy but he doesn't have much range. Imagine what a stud QB could do in this offense.

Our LB's and safetys are still awful. If we miss out on Lawrence/Fields we need to take the best defensive player available again.

Teddy has one of the weakest arms I remember seeing in the nfl. Hes got great footwork but hard to overcome lack of (arm) talent.

I'm not surprised our Redzone offense is bad and that's not really on Teddy.

Outside of Greg, Cam and Cmac we have no redzone threats. And surprise none of them are suiting up for the Panthers today so our Redzone offense is trash.

Some real questionable calls in the redzone tho.

Just now, Sean Payton's Vicodin said:

We are doomed for 7-9 for the next decade. Someones gonna steal TL and JF from us

Justin Fields doesn't scan the field and runs around and hopes for the best when his first read isn't open. Look at his highlights he never turns his head.

I really do not get the love affair with Fields. OSU QB with questionable accuracy BUT HEY HE PUT UP NUMBERS

    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
    • In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.
    • I think he was trying to mimic the Lions with Montgomery and Gibbs. They are just more of the exception to the rule and Brooks was too much of a gamble to be a Gibbs type player. The Lions also didn’t sign Montgomery and draft Gibbs until their offense was nearly set. It was more of a luxury take the offense to the next level type of deal.
