Panthers have a young team, new staff, were not supposed to be competitive. Falcons have talent all over the place and keep finding new and exciting ways to mess up. They are the Clippers of the NFL.

Tanking for Trevor would be a lot more exciting if QB play were the issue (today notwithstanding). Unfortunately the rot goes far deeper than (and may even exclude) Ryan. Coaching staff and GM are losers' losers and have picked a team full of talented-but-mentally-weak players, and the game plan (and adjustments therein) are more shocking every week.

man i watched a lot of that game.  i can honestly say that both foles and his receivers were dropping dimes.  that dude actually threw like 6 td's in the 4th qtr w/ 3 of them being caught

It’s amazing what that Super Bowl implosion did to Dan Quinn’s career. He was going to be revered and lauded as a top five coach in the league with a win in that game, and now he and Adam Gase are sharing realtor referrals.
