it is. better QB rating than lamar jackson, tom brady, matthew stafford, matt ryan, kyler murray, philip rivers, jared goff, baker mayfield.....good ball player. bad team, but good ball player. we'll see how he does next season.

are you saying that teddy is a better quarterback than those guys or that qbr doesn't always provide the clearest picture of a quarterback's performance?

Teddy has no guaranteed money in his 3-year deal in year three (2022).  His deal was very front loaded, according to OTC.  We probably draft a QB this year and let Teddy start until the rookie is ready.  My guess, but Teddy has not shown the stuff.  I would let him lose the job and then rework his third year deal to make him the backup for the next 3-5 years.  He would be insurance.

There is one person and one team who benefited from Bridgewater

1. Bridgewater for getting $63 million from the Panthers.  42 roughly guaranteed

2. The Saints for  not over paying for a backup

Bridgewater is what he has always been and Sean Payton laughs at the Panthers again   He cannot change his  God given physical toolset

Tired of people making excuses for him. He is far to tentative for a veteran as well  at the LOS

People rave about his accuracy. Well Moore escaped serious injury over that accuracy.

if the Panthers are in the top 8 DRAFT position and one of those QBs are there and they don’t take one, beyond stupid. Ask KC and Arizona if they regret moving up for their QBs.

Bridgewater is just good enough to guarantee a 6 10 or 7 9 season in the future, guaranteeing a lower draft pick     get the damned QB now

Lol. I find it funny Brady is mentioned. He made two bad picks against KC but did anyone see the beautiful bomb to Godwin? That’s a throw Teddy couldn’t make and Brady is 60 years old. Brady’s got a way better arm than Teddy and it’s not close.

He is still exactly who he has always been, a little roughed up from this crappy Oline, but that's Teddy. Just not good enough overall play and his ceiling is too low to ever attain being a franchise QB. He is a great backup for the right price, not what we are paying. If we can't find a QB to groom this offseason then I'm really not looking forward to seeing another year of Teddy without the hope the new guy gets a chance to prove what a great QB can look like.

    • The question is which Bryce shows up game 1. Do we get week 2 (2024) Bryce, or week 18 (2024) Bryce?  I will say that his progression after the benching last year was amazing. He literally got better every game - sans Dallas. Like every week he did something we hadn't seen him do before. And it wasn't luck, toss it up for grabs plays like Penix did against Carolina. Penix was just throwing the ball as hard as he could in the direction of a receiver and hoping they'd make a play for him. What we saw from Bryce was different. Decision making, reading defenses, recognizing blitzes and where they were coming from, knowing his hot, avoiding pressure and manipulating the pocket, throwing with anticipation, taking shots downfield, and running the ball surprisingly well. Stats don't always tell the story. Did he miss some throws that he should have made - sure did. But the clutch gene is strong with this one. One score game and Carolina has the ball with 2 minutes on the clock - I'm confident he'll give them a chance to win more than he doesn't.
    • I really like David Moore. He's a reliable WR. Smart, doesn't drop the ball and he's where he's supposed to be. Now, he ain't gonna route up a DB. He ain't gonna 50/50 ball a DB. He ain't gonna run by a DB either. But he runs a good enough route and catches the ball - definitely an NFL average WR. Every team could use a David Moore. Now if this receiving group can force Dan and Dave to let him go, then this team has come a long way since 2023. A LONG way. But I will say that Horn's speed is a big deal. They don't really have another guy with speed and quickness to blow the top off the defense and make guys miss in space after the catch, though he is still a rookie and hasn't done it in the NFL. If he and Renfrow push Moore out, then we might actually have something gents. Plus I see Renfrow as Thielen's replacement in 2026. I just don't think Coker is the reliable, move the chains guy like Thielen. Could be wrong.
    • david newton still doesn't have a clue. how long has he been doing this?
