Miami big winners.  NIce for them.

As the Texans fire GM/HC Bill O'Brien, here's a reminder that the Dolphins own the 2021 1st and 2nd round picks of the 0-4 Texans from the Laremy Tunsil trade. Texans went all-in and lost. The Dolphins, who also got a 2019 first- and fourth-round pick that was used on starting CB Noah Igbinoghene and starting RG Solomon Kindley, benefit from that.

can you share that with Panther "fans" hoping for a 2-14 season?

That dream has died but let’s not act like 1-15/2-14 didn’t net us Cam, Peppers and then Gross/Luke the year after while picking top 10 again. I means let’s not try to rewrite history like we didn’t make SBs because of the players we picked.

We aren’t getting Lawrence and I was so hoping we’d somehow get him but the whole picks don’t make a team is wrong. The best teams are the ones who make the best picks. It’s how you build dynasties. Picking the right QB typically leads to a decade of playoffs and maybe a SB.

Hey, we earned those draft picks with legit crappy teams.  This isn't a crappy team.  Did I know that before the season?  No.  Because no one knew this team, still don't.  The fun of this year is going to be finding out how good they can be together.

And the great teams we have had, the SB appearances, the superstars, the top draft picks...... we still have not put together back to back winning seasons.  Maybe the deep cycle is not the answer to building a consistent winner?

This offseason has been one long drawn out downer as 9 of 10 posters here fought to see who could be the most negative about our chances.

The chance for the half-full guys to raise their mugs is now, may not last so I am enjoying my victory Monday.

Losing your best WR for a run down RB was probably not the best start to the year. I think HC-GM is to much for one guy to run. You always need someone to check what you alone think is the right move.

That reminds me, where is that fuging dolt that said in the game thread the Texans had clearly won the Hopkins trade after David Johnson's first carry of the season. That was HOF stupid.
