Mike Davis is tops

Over the past three weeks, Mike Davis leads the NFL with 14 broken tackles. Alvin Kamara, who plays tonight, is second with 11.

It's very possible we have the second coming of Double Trouble here.  Believe it or not, I think this version is even MORE talented than DeWill and Stew.

This team is playing hard and a lot of it is a reflection of the staff. Does anyone really think that Rivera would have guys like Mike Davis performing at the level he has?

I'm believing in the Rhule effect... Players are playing harder, faster, with purpose. Thus far Rhule is getting more out of his players and we're still building just not rebuilding...

Rivera wouldn't even be playing Chinn right now. He'd probably be already in his doghouse for some unknown reason.

He has to be up there in yards after contact as well. It seems like he is stopped and then he pushes the pile forward for six yards about every time.

It is early but Davis looks very much like Stewart out there. One thing though, Davis is a much better receiver than Stewart.

Davis I agree looks similar and is a beast. But Stewart had a package of  strength and explosiveness that no other Panther RB possessed. He wasn’t a burner but he had wheels and could take it to the house after stomping your head in the turf. 

Stewart looks more naturally gifted. But I agree Davis is a better receiver.

So, CMC comes back, Davis keeps being a monster on the field of play. It's not who do we feed, it's who do we throw to when they try to stack the box against the run?

This is a team that developed a balanced attack, a tougher than advertised defense, a steady O-line in the offseason that wasn't, with a totally rookie coaching staff. And we KEEP GETTING BETTER week to week.

I don't know where the hell we're headed this season, but man this is one heck of a ride!

Stewart had incredible balance as well!  Davis is the perfect amount of wiggle and thunder.

Combined, for sure, Davis + CMC are better than double trouble I think. But that's because CMC is so incredible and Davis is every bit a strong starter.
