Ok. I’ll keep it to message board analysis.

Dur, that Little dude sure seems to fall on his ass a lot when backing up and seems to reach and flail to the ground when fast guys get by him.

By the way, what do your eyes tell you when LBers knock him back on his ass or he falls forward trying to reach for someone who already got by him?

He needs more then 7 games of real football games experience to help that...

I've also seen pro bowl LT get knocked on their asses by LBers as well.. So I don't expect a 2nd year player in Little's situation to be immune from it...

But again that's just my normal football fan opinion.. Not a experts opinion like yours is.

OP acts like we haven’t spent stupid money on o-line or draft picks.

out two tackles are starting caliber and our center is top 10 in the league. Reed is atrocious and Daley is still undetermined. It’s going to happen, just takes time.

No, I said they haven’t done anything effective. Why would I give them credit for failing?

I heard franchise level LT and C are on sale at target if we hurry.

You’re right. The FO just needs more time. 6 years is a little hasty.

Agree to disagree.. Teddy had time to let deep ball route develop.. We got some solid running plays against a defense with 4 to 5 pro bowler on it.. We punted once or twice during the game.. Gave up 1 sack.. Yeah I'll go with my opinion..

You do realize that when TB had time yesterday we have 5 olineman blocking a 3 man rush?

Which I agree is when they seem to excel.

How can you state that this coaching staff is failing? It’s week 8, and we have a top 10 offense and even though it doesn’t seem like visually (we have a top 15 online).

we had 60% roster turnover. Let Rhule fill the holes before stating he has failed us.

Every year we have people bitch about the OL. Every year the FO drafts some OL, brings in FA, and signs people off other PS. It's not like they aren't doing anything. Good OL are hard to find and when you have one you don't let them go. Every team's fans bitch about their OL. There just aren't franchise LTs laying around at Walmart waiting to be picked up. Show us your list of people we go get right now.

The 1st 2 Panthers plays of the highlight was a 5 person rush and a blitz.. Teddy had time to dance and wait for Samuels long crossing route to develop ...  The 3 man rush thing happened but they also gave him time on blitz and 5 man rushing..

We punted once and gave  up 1 sack on a 3rd and long play..

That's not bad oline play in my opinion..

There's no guarantee Okung is back next season. And even if he is he's always been an injury risk.

Our Gs are not starter calibur.

Our C sucks.

Moton is still unsigned (please sign him.)

We really, really need to upgrade our O-line.

Paradis Isa useless POS who should be coaching high school. The poor bastard obviously never got over his injury. For the Love of god, let us draft a tough young center.

    • In your opinion. What do you think Moton's true value in contract, dollars and guarantees? If we had not extended him, what is your plan for RT in 27 and 28? How important are good offensive linemen for our current offense? How much value do you put on protecting Bryce at this stage of his career? How difficult in general do you think finding above average tackles in the NFL is?
    • The Falcons have 2 significant offensive line injuries to start the 2025 season. Right tackle Kaleb Mcgary (who is the blindside protector for Penix since he is left-handed) is going to miss significant time, and it's looking more like it may be all season. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/falcons-expect-kaleb-mcgary-to-miss-significant-time https://x.com/BKsquared7/status/1959285822236107013. Also, the top backup and swing tackle, Storm Norton (cool name BTW) is having ankle surgery and may miss half the season. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/falcons-ot-storm-norton-out-6-8-weeks-after-ankle-surgery I don't root for injuries, but its also hard to be too sympathetic given how badly injuries have hit us in recent years. We definitely need to get that W in week 3 for our home opener at BOA. Despite our collective frustration at not being able to attend TC and then having boring preseason games, ultimately the most important objective of the preseason is to enter Week1 healthy, and we have at least done that. Hopefully the depth we think we have at Oline either shines through or isn't needed. Many other teams are in a bad spot with their offensive lines before the season even starts. For once, we aren't in that situation.
    • That roster was billed as a super smart and strong unit for a young QB….until he sucked though.   it didn’t have superstars but it had proven vets that checked well all the safe boxes and it was universally agreed the Panthers were putting him into position to succeed. BY just doesn’t fit a traditional O because he isn’t built like a traditional QB.  And he still doesn’t.   CJ Stroud would have had more success here than Bryce with that cast.   CJ just has the tools that fit the NFL more easily.  Young can find success but I have always argued it would take a Bryce centric plan (which we have never attempted IMO)
