he always looks downfield and opts to check down and underneath for safe option.   He remains Alex Smith.  You can’t coach players into being wired different.  Would be like thinking you could make Jake not gamble.

Teddy is a loser's loser.  Imagine how mentally deficient you have to be as a GM to see him carried by every facet of the Saints for that 5-0 stretch and think, in the rebuilding situation the Panthers find themselves, that a 63 million dollar deal is appropriate.  Payton was fine letting Theordore go because he knew that his lummox retard was going to provide just as much production for pennies on the dollar.
