That is absolutely some of the dumbest poo I've heard all year.  He is so risk averse he doesn't even realize what he's saying.  You literally had a wide open TD and YOU blew it, so you blame it on the call coming in late and then say if you could go back in time you would've just audibled to a run instead of throwing a pass a worth a fuging poo?

This guy just doesn't get it.

I legit was reading his quote, and then reading your post afterwards. And I was laughing so hard. This guy is a freaking idiot.

He takes no accountability whatsoever

Interesting, because Rhule wouldn't lin anything on Teddy during his presser despite there being ample opportunity.  Hopefully they'll take the opportunity of his late game stinger to bench him the rest of the year and let the chips fall where they may.

yeah this loss kinda just destroyed all chances at grabbing a spot from the cardinals so knowing you're on the verge of being a top five pick you may as well see what PJ has, give some snaps to bubble guys, and go into the offseason with a fuller knowledge of who you've got on your roster.

I’m gonna be honest here. A loss like I just witnessed saps my desire to see this team win even beyond this season. I don’t think there’s anything Rhule, Brady and Bridgewater can ever do to redeem themselves to me and while I know it was just another “loss that would make the 2016 Falcons blush like we have every few years,” I just don’t know how I can enjoy this team in its current guise. Bridgewater robbed my favorite player of a long time of playing and the absolute moron, below-Seifert-and-Hue Jackson-tier coaches enabled it.

right, but it doesn't even make sense that it would be a play to audible out of. he's the one that fuged it up.

Audibles are generally given by the OC as well.

They give the quarterback a primary play but also give a second play they can audible to.

If Bridgewater had called an audible, it still would have been a Brady playcall.

Did y’all not watch? He threw it so poorly DJ tore his Achilles coming back for the ball...

Not sure how you interpret that as sarcasm

DJ didn’t come back for the ball he hurt himself prior to the jump, he was in a straight line and didn't "come back" for anything

Benching Bridgewater undermines his trade value

There is no value because of his contract. No way anyone want to pay their backup those kind of money.

His contract is structured to be team friendly, he's already being paid a substantial portion of it, it's not an overly high dollar contract compared to the league average, and there are absolutely teams who will consider him a contender for their starting job
