So apparently now there's a rumor that Bill Cowher wants to come back and coach the Jets.

Normally that would probably just be dismissed, but in this particular case the source of the rumor is Cowher's broadcast colleague, Boomer Esiason.

Mind you, it could still be crap, but it's quite possible the Jets may look to make a splash after their abysmal season this year. Throw in that Joe Douglas was in Baltimore when Cowher was coaching in Pittsburgh, and it's no doubt he'd be well familiar with him.

Could be nothing, but expect the Jet fans to start talking.

Jets are gonna Jet. And usually I'm all for "sorry for the guy losing his job, hope he finds something new soon" but I really, really don't like Williams. The dude needs to go do  some soul searching.
