Imagine this offense with a legit, strong armed, non-afraid QB.  I know it wont happen, but I would absolutely love to see Trevor Lawrence running a Joe Brady offense with the current weapons we have.  This is not the offense for a scaredy cat, noodle-armed QB.

Prevent offense.

Hah, so true. He plays scared. Only someone afraid to do bad or afraid to show he isn’t great would say that he would have changed the call to a run with the game on the line or blame a play call when the WR you targeted and missed has no one covering him or throw an easy 1 yard throw on 4th and 8 to end a game.

He's called Trey Lance!

I have no idea if he or Wilson will be any good but I’d much rather take a chance rather than know we can’t win a SB unless we have a better 21 other guys than every other team in the league which doesn’t happen much.

    • The problem is if he leaves, all of the Bryce fanboys will use it as an excuse for any regression or lack of progress that Bryce shows. Despite having an expensive OL and 2 first round picks at WR. I really would like to see the real Bryce this year before the 5th year option next spring.
    • As I've said numerous times the last few days, having Thielen on the field has literally 0% to do with my views on this (I've even said I think Renfrow is going to take a ton of snaps from Thielen anyways).  He has more value to this team without playing a single snap than a 2026 5th round draft pick does for the franchise.   His value is helping set up T-Mac, XL, Coker, and Horn for long term success by helping them learn how to be pros, how to go about their business, how to train, how to do all the little things that helped turn Thielen from a D2 undrafted player into a borderline Vikings legend.
