Imagine what Lawrence could do with this

Too bad he's literally the only qb available in the upcoming draft. If only there were some other promising college qb prospects we could consider drafting instead of the consensus number one overall pick.

How did this relate to: Imagine what Lawrence can do with this?

I wonder if Igo has the ability to view post statistics, because if he were to look up how many times the word "Lawrence" has been posted here he'd probably find something in the thousands.

I know people are down on Fields after yesterday but seriously don't sleep on him.  I'm interested to see how he responds and ends the year with the playoff/bowls.  They didn't win but he gave Clemson a fit last year in the semi and now he's got his rematch/revenge game.

Between him, Wilson, Lance, & Trask, we could end up with a super promising QB.  I genuinely like all, even Trask.  His quickness in decision making & release is a big part in why.  Other slowbigs like Mallett didn't have that.  Trask is light on his feet in the pocket and very decisive.  Timely with his throws.  I just like it. And Jones is right there.

I'd say teddy is doing just fine, given the thousand yard receiving duo happened with him under center, which I believe is the first time in franchise history (I think?)

Teddy's Achilles heal is finishing games late in the 4th quarter. He's been an average to slightly above average 3.5 quarter qb this year.

I give Joe Brady the credit.  He sets the WRs and QB up to have success.  LSU took advantage of it last year and Carolinas WRs did this year.  Unfortunately Teddy was unable to beyond an extent

I hope he looks terrible in his bowl game and somehow slips to us. He and Lawrence are not nearly as far apart as people think.

Lawrence is clearly ahead but I do agree Fields is still a step above the others.  Steve McNair with a bit more agility.

Trask & Wilson are definitely showing up this season and I like both.

But for Field, it's not often that level of mechanics and athleticism are combined.

I guess the question now becomes what can Trevor Lawrence do with DJ Chark and Tyler Eifert.

Jags like the Jets have extra 1st round picks. They’ve got picks 1, 25 and 34 right now so they should be able to grab some talent. They’ve also got an extra 4th from the Rams as well. Based on their 2020 picks and FAs seems like they’d probably go offense heavy. Both 1sts, 3rd and 3 4ths/5ths were D last year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another WR to join Chark and Shenault and an OL with 25/34.

Also, I’d 100% draft Amari Rodgers on day 3 (late round projection) to help Trevor adjust.

If they are willing to give up on Minshew, I would take him here in a heartbeat. Jaguars are going to draft a QB because they are supposed to. If they end up at number 1 and are smart, they would trade down and build around Minshew. He is a good QB.

Instead they are going to surround a new young QB with subpar talent and wonder why they can't win.
