Dak is dope. Big fan of him. If we can’t get Watson I wouldn’t hate it at all.

You guys aren't thinking. He wants 40 million a year. You can't tie that up in one guy and win the Superbowl.

It's too big a chunk of your cap.

That's why Brady always kept his salary reasonable. So he could win Championships.

He is worth like 31 mil a year max.

He's not worth 40 million. None of them are honestly.

Would you rather give up 3 first round picks, cmc, and 2 defensive starters to pay another qb 40 mil? Because unfortunately that is the leader in the clubhouse.

signing a pro bowler caliber qb without giving away our future seems like a pretty good deal right now considering what we’ve heard

Dak is a pain in the azz as Wilson is becoming. Watson is trying to  strong arm his team into some kind of control...STFU and throw the football....We need to cultivate and create our own and hope he doesnt turn out like those 3...Don't want any of them because their true character is coming out...

At this point I rather draft someone.

They made a great point on ESPN that none of the highest paid QBs have won a Superbowl since they got mega bucks it seems.

I haven't confirmed that but essentially if you put 30% of your cap into QB your chances go down

I want 40 million a year too but I'm not going to get it either

    • Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is putting the league on notice early into his NFL career, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is well aware.  “I think he’s a stud,” Shanahan told reporters Thursday. “He’s going to be one of the best receivers in this league sooner than later. He’s got all the skill sets to do it, and I think he’s just getting started.”  Through 11 games played, McMillan has racked up 748 receiving yards on 54 receptions. He ranks sixth in the NFL in receiving yards and leads all rookies in the category.  Carolina selected McMillan as the No. 8 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. San Francisco had the 11th overall pick.  Did the receiver out of Arizona catch Shanahan’s eye in draft preparation?  “Yeah, big time,” Shanahan said.  Shanahan also said that he thought the receiver would be taken well ahead of the 49ers’ draft position, but the team did their due diligence when scouting the best overall draft picks in the 2025 class. With McMillan off the board, San Francisco ended up selecting defensive end Mykel Williams with the 11th pick to bolster its defensive line. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/kyle-shanahan-tetairoa-mcmillan/1893558/
    • Koochie is playing his best hockey yet so far but it’s a small sample size
    • In basically every win but Atlanta he's had 2-3 plays that were a big deal but he also was part of why we needed those 2-3 plays instead of just cruising.
