Noteworthy: Although there's a general expectation that the team will make a tender offer to Efe Obada, they have yet to do so.

If they don't make one by 4pm Wednesday, he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

I think most of us believe they will.

I'm admittedly a little perplexed as to why they haven't yet though, given that they made tender offers to all our other RFAs in pretty short order.

Mind you, it's possible that maybe they're working on something more than just a tender offer.

I expect that they will sign their own before they sign anyone from another team at first.  But the natives are restless and patience is thin.  God help this place if they don't draft one of the supposed top 3 after Trevor.

Kind of think they want to see if they can get a 2 or 3 year deal instead of just a tender.

Very possible.

Of course if they don't, they can still make a tender offer as long as they do it before free agency opens.
