Fitt is filling our roster with serviceable players so we can trade our entire draft for Watson.

I've heard a couple of people suggest that, and I just can't get on board.

It would be a very Panther thing to choose a draft where the offensive line class is expected to be good and deep to be the one where we trade away all our picks.

I just cannot conceive a scenario where giving up what it will take to get one player works out in our favor.

I hope it's a smoke screen...or a bad dream.

I hope neither see the field. I love the cheap hungry guys in free agency but we wasted money on two injured and really bad players. this looks like amateur hour honestly. who the fug is our pro-personel expert now?

Current head of pro personnel is still Matt Allen (i.e. Jerry Richardson's grandson).

Luke Kuechly did join the pro personnel department this year.

I wouldn’t want to put him behind that oline and he probably is thinking same. Idk just thinking out loud lol

Well these guys are relatively cheap backup signings nothing more. I mean, they could start if they win at camp but I doubt it. Fitt said we wouldn’t be very active in FA, so far he’s honest.

I'm that dude that waits for things to go on sale and not jump on them as soon as they hit the shelf.  Call it the cheapskate in me.  No doubt we need OL depth and with our history of OL injuries we surely need positional flexibility.  However, these guys (or guys like them) would be available days from now and probably at a discounted rate from what we intend to give them.
