How many accusers are there now? I think I read six. At this point I would not feel comfortable making a trade for him because that seems like a lot of people for it to all be bs.

You may be right, but it is odd that thus far they all have been either amateur or professional masseuses.

Yikes. Easy now. We have no idea who these women are and that's a huge assumption that entirely baseless given that we have no idea who they are or anything about them other than they are masseuses. I'm just saying, if you're going to pursue a civil suit that is largely going to consist of he said/she said type stuff, unless you're completely clueless you're going to do everything you can to clean up your traceable public profile before you pursue the suit.

Oh ok, I thought you meant the other way. I thought you seen them beforehand.

Yeah, six. Previously there were four but two more have appeared since, and I suppose it's at least possible that there could be more yet (which could be devastating to Watson).

I'd say at this point there's not much chance of us (or frankly anybody) trading for him. That ship has probably sailed. Barring something incredibly shocking, this is going to take a while to resolve.

Practically speaking, this isn't really a football story anymore. Watson's life is gonna be severely impacted pretty much no matter how this comes out. And of course, if he's guilty, he deserves whatever happens.

What a sad mess.

I have a gorgeous friend who does message therapy and is passionately into her craft. Has to deal with dudes asking for happy endings all the time and seeing how it effects her really is a shame.

What's really insidious about the situation if true is Watson knew exactly what he was doing. There's plenty of avenues for a star athlete to buy sex. James Harden could have given him the number of any escort in Houston. He chose to fly out vulnerable, newly licensed women to exert power over them.

Unless something changes this is a civil lawsuit. If he loses he only pays monetary fees, no jail time. This is not a criminal case.

This is not as cut and dry as it seems. Escorts often advertise themselves as massage therapists and stuff to avoid legal troubles. I am assuming that by the time they got to him that would all be cleared up though.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
