What's really insidious about the situation if true is Watson knew exactly what he was doing. There's plenty of avenues for a star athlete to buy sex. James Harden could have given him the number of any escort in Houston. He chose to fly out vulnerable, newly licensed women to exert power over them.

 

2nd paragraph is the problem though.  It treats some very vague allegations presented by a sketchy lawyer as stone cold fact.

Saying the Texans are behind this is insanity. They had a highly valuable asset that they would have gotten a franchise changing return for and now have somebody who no team will touch (at least for the time being).

 

There's no way a team will trade for him until and unless this situation works itself out in a positive way for Watson. If he is found to have done all or some of these things that are being alleged, his NFL future is definitely going to be questionable.

We don’t know enough IMO to say these  are credible allegations yet.    Doesn’t mean they can’t be.  
 

even via the attorney the admitted Instagram focus IMO is a red flag.  On all parties.
