To all you Karen's and Nancy's, Darnold will be the best trade in Panthers history! Yes better than Olsen

He had NOTHING to work with at the armpit of NFL teams known as the Jets

He had a deranged coach, look at Tannehill when he left MIA and went to TEN. Gase is POISON

He comes to a team where he doesn't have to be 'the guy' he just needs to give it to studs like CMC, Robbie, Moore

This isn't a bad trade, a bad trade is getting the Everette Brown's of the world in the second round

Look at what backup QBs get traded for, career journeymens like Sam Bradford. Look at what was spent for a 30+ year old in Stafford

This was a no risk pick and not mortgaging the present and future on a complete unknown rookie

Lol it's 2020 and we just signed Teddy to be a franchise QB again.

Tell yourself whatever gets you through the season. We will be picking top 10 again and are closer to being a NFL bottom dweller than we have ever before.

With the price I think it was a smart move. If he busts you’re not out of much, but if he plays well it’s a steal.

I don’t know much about him but I won’t judge anyone for not performing while with the Jets, that’s just what they do.

My expectations are low going in, I hope we can keep him upright and give him a real chance.

    • I love Chubba.  Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St.  and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far.  But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up.  I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season.  He is definitely special.  Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…
    • Didn't i say passing other cars?
    • If you're in the left lane, look to the right. Is there someone beside you? Are you soon overtaking someone in the right lane immediately ahead of you? No and no? Then get the fug over. That's how it's supposed to work. Doesn't matter if you're going 100.
