I come in peace.  Hope to be here often next season. Nice to meet you all

First off, we all know Sam had major issues this past season. Not seeing open receivers, bing careless with the ball... etc.  But, we also know the coaching was non existent.  Ify you ever watched a Jet game, you would know not once in 2 seasons did Gase pull the kid to side and go over what was going wrong. Gase was a horrible leader and coach. Ask Tannehill.

I do not where Sam goes from here, but I do know he was a different player from his rookie year.  He had so much promise. And you have to remember the Jets had a winning record when he played his second season. Then came the disaster season. He has to clean up his decision making, but if Brady is as good as advertised, you guys may have a steal. I can tell you about 60% of Jet fans did not want Sam to be traded.  Most did want a Qb drafted, but many of those wanted it to be a competition.  Sam is an OUTSTANDING guy and many of us will root for him in Carolina. If he can clean up the decisions and allow the game to slow down, maybe the flashes of brilliance he showed as a rookie will resurface and he can become a true franchise QB.

 

Here is a game against vs a stout D in late December, who were fighting for the playoffs.

Welcome!  Seems like Jets fans have a soft spot for Darnold.  He appears to be a good kid who has had poor coaching.  Really hoping he works out.  He definitely has more potential than Teddy, so at this point I’m all in.  I’m hyped about our new QB coach as well, which apparently Darnold hasn’t had in a couple years.  Pretty bad when your HC is Gase and he is HC, OC, and QB coach.  I think you got a good one in Saleh.

I like his mobility in that clip - both when actually running and when moving laterally to throw. I can’t think of a panthers QB that was good at that. I hope we see plenty more of these type of highlights. 
watching Teddy repeatedly take off like he was Vick and then lumbering down the field like he was Eli was infuriating.

      Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?

      It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
