No Pitts? Slater gone? Pene off the board?

No way Lance, Fields, Sewell and Salter are all off the board.  Like zero chance and that is the only way I'm cool taking a corner.  Even then it had be in a trade back and not at #8.  Frankly, I'd still prefer Darrisaw over a corner, but I wouldn't be too upset.

Especially if Miami wants him. They would gladly trade up with ATL.

Just FYI for young football fans who might be on this forum, please don't be fooled by phony sports journalists. They make stuff up and pretend like they have inside information on who will be drafted by which teams. NFL teams, unless they have the #1 over pick, don't go around leaking out who they are taking in the draft. That could harm the team due to trading or other reasons. The draft targets remain a secret until the pick is made.

Horn started this process as a mid 2nd round pick. All of a sudden he’s #8? He didn’t blow people away at his pro day. His tape isn’t lockdown. I see him as a late 1st at best..

If Slater, Pitts, and Sewell are all gone then that means either Chase or Fields are on the board. I’m not passing on either of them to pick Horn at 8.

Chase. I'm taking elite talent. Sorry, not sorry.

I would say that after trading for Darnold, Chase doesn’t just sit as a BPA. You could argue he’s a need player as well. We have two proven pass catchers (other than our running back). If one of them goes down this offense becomes very very weak.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
