I prefer to take Fields if hes there, but I think he'll be gone and we'll grab One of the top 2 OT's

I think one of Fields/Lance is there @ 8. I'd rather Fields, but can the Panthers really pass on either?

I want a LT at 8, but I no longer think we stay there unless Pitts is there. 

So, we will trade down.  Then it's just a matter of will it be a LT, WR, or CB.

Only if Pitts is available otherwise I'd trade down and get a top 5 OT plus extra picks.

There are 3 guys outside of the QBs who are potential franchise changing players (and 2 who are right on the fringe), these guys have an opportunity to be generational type guys.  

Penei Sewell, Patrick Surtain, and Kyle Pitts ( Chase and Horn could be as well )

If the QBs are off the board as expected securing one of those 3 who all happen to be in a position of need would be amazing.  Trading back and missing any of those guys would be a major mistake.  As bad as i want a QB, if Sewell is the pick i'm doing backflips on draft night.  If Slater is the guy you covet, trade back.

is Surtain a better prospect than Okuda? 

Rarely do CBs change franchises. 

Only QBs really change franchises.

The almost 83% total for OT is pretty amazing. I am not sure we have seen that kind of consensus among Panthers/Huddle fans for a draft.

I am thinking we trade back with Dallas and take Slater. Pick up a 3rd in the process.

1. If Sewell is there, draft his ass and don't look back

2. If not trade down and pick Slater if he falls, Darrisaw, Tevin Jenkins, Jalen Mayfield, or JOK

please for the love of God. LOTS of O-line talent in round 1.
