If you were going for the joke, then...lol

If you were making a comment on our leadership, then...not lol

The leadership we have now is the best it's been in 15+ years.

I agree 100% that Tepper is executing on and staffing up a model that will almost certainly result in long-term and consistent success as defined by the single metric that really matters -- wins & losses.

That said, his model is a departure from that which is the norm in the NFL and Fitterer is not "the sheriff".

Patience will be rewarded!! 💥💯🧨🇺🇸

PS...I'd suggest current leadership is a step up from anything that's been in place since inception of the franchise.

Oh, I agree that this regime is heavy into analytics. Something that fans are going to have to get used to. As we seem to be trending upward, I would say they are off to a pretty good start.

And since I am the one that said we have a new Sheriff, I get to call who plays  the Sheriff. And that is Fitt.

So with Paradis and Moton gone next year what exactly is the Panthers total investment in an oline?

Greg Little, a $2 bill and a bojangles sandwich?

If Darnold doesn’t work out or gets injured due to this garbage, Rhule will have no choice but to draft the next poor soul lining up behind traffic cones. No legit QB is going to dumb enough to go for that.

Its not a curse or bad luck.

Yeah, that easy answer might make you feel better, but it’s not that.

It’s ownership/management/coaching (in that order… though, to be fair, the first 2 years of the Rhule Regime he’s pretty much been the GM as well as HC).

Yeah, I mean the answer has always been pretty obvious.

$13.75M this year and $16.5 next year (120% of this years tag) is probably more reasonable than what Moton is asking for

He may end up just holding out if we tag him next season.

I'm trying to remember the last player who actually held out and missed getting paid for a season?

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
