I'd much rather see him come in too aggressive and have to be coached down than to come in timid and have to look for some courage.

Rather have him be too aggressive. He'll get away with a lot more than they'll call him for. They usually do. 

And he'll be on them enough that QBs won't want to mess with it. They'll throw to someone else

The way the league favors offense now a days that will be flags on both plays all day. At least he is playing up tight on them. But either way u giving up yards no playing tight or grabbing. So he has to work on those hands other than that he looks good.

You cannot teach this type of aggressiveness for sure.

Yep, you can tone that down (though I'd be REALLY hesitant to do that) a lot easier than you can crank that knob up as a coach.
