I didn’t watch it but from the recap it doesn’t seem like it was THAT bad, was it? The first defense pretty much shut them out. Seems like Grier played pretty well. What’s the big deal?

Ok, but besides the obvious of Slye being hot garbage, what was so terrible? Just the fact that we couldn’t score?

Preseason games are notoriously boring and hard to watch in their entirety. However, a preseason game can reveal  shocking information about a backup. Like hearing that Grier sucks in practice and is going to be cut, and seeing him come out and clearly blow PJ out of the water in terms of play. It was no contest.

Their 3rd handily beat our 3rd string which doesn't matter because 3rd string players don't make it to the 53-man roster...but the Huddle is like ^^^^^.  The 1's played decent.

Interior OL getting blown up on 4th and short wasn't too hot either.

All told the starters looked good and we're looking the best we have at WR since the Smitty/Moose days.  But our depth is trash.
