The list of captains announced Thursday includes: Linebacker Shaq Thompson, running back Christian McCaffrey, cornerback Donte Jackson, defensive end Brian Burns, quarterback Sam Darnold, center Matt Paradis, right tackle Taylor Moton, and long snapper J.J. Jansen.

Lead by example.

And not being vocal for the media doesn't relate to the locker room or on the field.

Who doesn't wanna be CMC or perform to his level. Let alone have his work ethic.

Captains are a locker room thing, not necessarily a compilation of the team's absolute best players. Paradis is a veteran with a lot of starting experience in the league. Not surprising at all that he's seen as a leader in the locker room.

Burns? Why he's been terrible against the run and has never had a double digit sack season but hes Pep lol
