I remember feeling like the Snow hire was evidence of what looked far too much like nepotism that could cripple us.  Boy, was I wrong.  Snow looks like the real deal and has those guys buying in.

Yeah but like...Snow was the linebackers coach of the 0-16 Detroit Lions so it would logically follow that he would suck as a DC.

-An actual argument I read here multiple times after the hiring.

Wilson escaped SOOOO many times too.  A QB less mobile probably would not have been able to finish that game.  If our defense keeps playing like this, we may only see Matt Ryan once this year.  Burns & Co may end his season in the first game.

You mean like………Jameis?

That's easy to say in game one.  It's a long season and you want to win the war of attrition by the end as well.  In principle I agree with you. I just think that you have to take any opportunity you get during a game to rest as many players as you can.

Having said that, I would much prefer the comfortable lead be a bit wider at the half before going into prevent mode.

I just want to see us at our full capacity on Offense.  I feel like last game was almost there on Defense.  I have no doubt that this team can put up 40+ on any given day if they are clicking on all cylinders.  We were on the cusp of blowing their doors off on Sunday.  We have GOT to figure out some way to get better interior O-Line play.

I love the enthusiasm but this team missed it's most likely only chance to blow the doors off anyone this season.  I think you may have too high of expectations with this young team for this season.  They are still growing and not quite deep enough to do more than ruin some seasons for other teams by knocking them out of the playoffs.  But they're getting there little by little.

    • Looking like it might be game 7 for Pitt and Phi. Philly is spent. I like more rest for the canes
    • Moton is the man through and through. 2 things I'll always give Gettleman credit for, 1 is drafting Moton, the other is building a SB contending roster and blowing it up in one off-season
    • Kurb is still alive and well.  I’m still friends with him on all of the social media.  He truly is a great man!  That’s my bro!  He always looked out for me since the early days of the huddle.  It definitely makes me sad that he just quit posting here, but that’s life.  He still shares his takes on social media and X, but a lot of the huddle vets just grew tired of this format and the environment, I guess?  It’s a lot of guys that were valuable contributors here that just stopped posting but are still alive and passionate Panthers fans.  Blindsite used to post huge write-ups and was a well-respected poster and then just disappeared.  We had one of these type threads several years ago and he checked back in and explained he just lost the motivation to stay active here.  It was amazing hearing from him again…   I signed up in 04 after coming over from the Charlotte.com boards and been here ever since.  (For those that don’t know - this is Proudiddy - had to change the name very recently due to ‘ol tootsie roll penis and the bad press 😂).  I’m forever thankful for all of you, even those who I haven’t had the greatest history with, I still appreciate yall.  Many have come and gone, both figuratively and literally, and that has put a lot into perspective over the years.  I went from a young, newly married, wide-eyed twenty year-old guy with a baby on the way, to a now forty-two year-old guy, recently divorced and newly re-married guy with my oldest baby now an adult and 5 more kids since.  And what ride it has been!  You guys have been a much bigger part of my life than I really care to acknowledge.😂
