Did Tepper ixnay #keeppounding chant?

@RoaringRiottweets open letter to Tepper about keeping chant.  What is going on?  Did Tepper actually axe it?  Or was it left out to put in the cartoon panther? Or was it the result of just overall poor management of the game day experience for fans?  #wedemandanswers  

 

What does RR know that the huddle does not??

Fans need to keep the chant up regardless.  I thought is was a cool tradition with the drum and all; brought a uniqueness and culture to the team.

But those intros seemed terribly coordinated because the focus was all on the augmented reality stuff.

Fans can do it on their own. Too bad there’s no “supporters section” like in soccer

Crazy that with all the emphasis on media engagement and how many people they have involved with that they would go with a decision like this. Maybe worry about the product on the field so we're not a doormat in the division before throwing out team traditions like that.

Was not at game but heard all the rumblings about #keeppounding not being a part of the festivities.

But it is a pretty big deal if and why the chant was excluded.

The fact that official Roaring Riot twitter goes directly to David Tepper says there is a lot more to this than currently being discussed

True, in theory.

In practice the NFL home gameday experience for stadium fans and the interaction with TV production is tightly micro-managed.  Those chants may or may not start on their own but without the timing and assistance of the stadium crew it will be increasingly difficult.

How can he take it away when it's the fans that chant it.  Do they hand you a card when you enter the stadium that says you will be kicked out if you chant "Keep Pounding"?Do you have to have a digital screen tell you when to cheer?

He wanted to push the 2 states 1 team BS so hard. Weird flex and no idea why this happened. Only moto for the team that matters and is a positive chant for team and fans. 

No idea if they just nixed it or just forgot about it, either way it's a dumb move.

Its about coordination. Just go into any stadium and just start saying something and see who else just randomly starts saying the same thing you say...

Lots of tweets on this, more coming in.

Increasingly I think Tepper kaboshed (or ok'd the kabosh) of the pre-game #keeppounding to make time for his new mixed reality toy.  The same stadium gameday management that screwed up all the other documented issues (lines, beer, intro's, etc.) mistakenly took the chant out of the whole gameday planning in it's entirety.  This is giving Tepper some credit but I could see it going down that way.  Will know Sunday.
