I think it's hilarious people on here knitpick 1-3 throws from Darnold.... While im over here watching QBs like Dak, Murray, Ryan, Cousins, and Herbert throw errratic throws or picks in their games. i highly doubt their fan base ridicules their play like its done here.... well maybe Falcons fans.

The average sports fans are borderline unhinged alcoholics I think you may be giving some people too much credit. All fanbases deal with this stuff. Even #1 had fans nitpicking and muttering under their breath after wins.

He had at least three "turnover worthy throws" today

sticks out was the quick hitter to moore in double coverage, and another in the first half he forced to the left.

Dude that ball to Moore was threaded between two defenders. you're trying too hard to resurrect your narrative

I am really happy so far. After all the losses to the Saints over the last several years it was awesome to put a beat down on them and shut up all the who dats strutting into the game so cocky and sure. Saints fans quiet and grimacing as we all left the stadium to keep pounding chants. I am really looking forward to Thursday night and seeing how we do. I have no clue if we are contenders or pretenders but 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the division is a great fast start which is what we needed. And the defense was nasty all day. We kept the pedal down most of the day. I am becoming a Snow disciple.

Man if this offense was clicking they would have beat NO somthing like 35-0.  If the offense ever gets rolling I expect 30+ points again will be norm.

Yup.   Sam is going to get better.

Teddy had 2 years in the offense before he played for us.  Sam has had 4 months.  Teddy's first game in the Peyton offense was against us at the end of the season.    Kyle Allen beat him when we were both resting a lot of starters.

that was not a turnover worthy throw, that was an absolute dart and it hit moore in the hands. it looked worse from the sideline than it would from the all 22. entirely arguable he shouldn't throw that ball, but there was no mistake.

Man, some of y'all are really cocky after beating possibly the worst team in the league in week one and a Saints team missing half their roster and coaching staff in week two.

I'm happy to be 2-0, but I'm not about to start getting cocky just yet.

Keep that negative vibe going up there in the Gorge.  When YOU get cocky, we'll be in trouble!

Yup.   Picking on that throw is grasping at straws.  Lame.

Darnold looks better than I expected him to and I admit that. But to be fair he’s been backed by 2 dominant defensive performances so I’m not crowning him the franchise savior yet either. We haven’t seen him in a game where he has to play from behind or make a game winning drive so there’s a lot still to see.

This is going to be very hard for those who have been deriding Sam and predicting Sam's and Rhule's failure all summer.  I've booked the posts.

moore crossing route was his first read. think it was end of the third. terrible throw. Should have been picked.

another throw in i think the second to his left, tried to thread it. defender dropped it

won't be able to rewatch game to find exact passes. i work in healthcare, too busy

probably the same kind of person who bitched to no end when teddy wouldn't push the ball more than 7 yards downfield. That throw was on the money and moore just dropped it, let the gunslinger sling the ball. Going to get burned occasionally, going to make big plays as well

He is far from the real deal yet, but he made some nice 3rd down throws to seal the deal towards the end there. We haven’t even seen him play on the road yet.

    • Looking like it might be game 7 for Pitt and Phi. Philly is spent. I like more rest for the canes
    • Moton is the man through and through. 2 things I'll always give Gettleman credit for, 1 is drafting Moton, the other is building a SB contending roster and blowing it up in one off-season
    • Kurb is still alive and well.  I’m still friends with him on all of the social media.  He truly is a great man!  That’s my bro!  He always looked out for me since the early days of the huddle.  It definitely makes me sad that he just quit posting here, but that’s life.  He still shares his takes on social media and X, but a lot of the huddle vets just grew tired of this format and the environment, I guess?  It’s a lot of guys that were valuable contributors here that just stopped posting but are still alive and passionate Panthers fans.  Blindsite used to post huge write-ups and was a well-respected poster and then just disappeared.  We had one of these type threads several years ago and he checked back in and explained he just lost the motivation to stay active here.  It was amazing hearing from him again…   I signed up in 04 after coming over from the Charlotte.com boards and been here ever since.  (For those that don’t know - this is Proudiddy - had to change the name very recently due to ‘ol tootsie roll penis and the bad press 😂).  I’m forever thankful for all of you, even those who I haven’t had the greatest history with, I still appreciate yall.  Many have come and gone, both figuratively and literally, and that has put a lot into perspective over the years.  I went from a young, newly married, wide-eyed twenty year-old guy with a baby on the way, to a now forty-two year-old guy, recently divorced and newly re-married guy with my oldest baby now an adult and 5 more kids since.  And what ride it has been!  You guys have been a much bigger part of my life than I really care to acknowledge.😂
