Thursday night games worry me because they are almost always bad no matter who's playing.  I just want us to play a hard fought and relatively mistake free football game.  Do that and the score will be in our favor.

I'm not a fan of Thursday nighters but defense tends to travel well/have an advantage on short weeks.... and I am sold on the defense.

Houston killed the Jags and lost to the Browns by 10.  I know theres a change at QB but we  don't know what Davis is going to do.  We really should win.  I just don't want to sleep on Houston.

I expect the Panthers to run the ball a lot in this game. The defense should be well rested. If the Texans score more than 17 it's because they created multiple turnovers.

The Jaguars are still the worst team in the league... A double digit loss is also not a Hallmark.

Houston would have been a tougher game with Ty-god at QB but Davis Mills is about to have a rude welcome to the NFL in his first start. If there’s one thing this Panthers defense has proven it can do so far this season, it’s get to the QB.
