0 respect. I mean 11 is ok. The rest are just purely based off of the fact that the saint supposedly were missing their whole team when we played them. Unless I’m mistaken when they played the Packers they were missing a few players. The difference of who they were missing against us even adding in the coaches should equate to pure domination at the extent we handed to them. Take away that bad mistake by Darnold trying to shovel it to Hubbard and then Aints wouldn’t have even smelled the red zone and gotten shut out.

So many salty, butt hurt Saints fan are making the “coaches and players being out” the excuse as to why they lost and we are still a bad team.
Wish we were playing them again soon. When we beat them again what will their excuse be this time I wonder?

Raise your hand if you thought the Carolina Panthers would be leading the NFL in total defense and scoring defense after two games. Now put your hand down—lying is wrong. Yes, the Panthers have benefitted from matchups with the hapless Jets and a game against the New Orleans Saints in which bad Jameis Winston showed up. But Brian Burns, Haason Reddick and the Carolina defense deserves credit for how well they have played. Now the Panthers are travelling to Houston to play a Texans team that will be rolling out a rookie quarterback making his first career start in Davis Mills. The good times just keep on rolling.

Not to look ahead because we need to focus and take care of Houston on Thursday but I seem to recall it wasn't till our complete thrashing of the Cowboys on thanksgiving that the whole world took notice that the 2015 Panthers were an absolute juggernaut. Several experts had even picked the Cowboys to win that game even though we entered 10-0. And if that sounds outlandish, just check this link: https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/11/25/9796444/2015-nfl-picks-predictions-experts-week-12-panthers-cowboys-seahawks-steelers-falcons-vikings

It's possible the Cowboys may serve a similar role this year.

I can understand why they didn't have us in the top 10 yet. I really believe that our defense has the ability to carry us until Sam can get completely comfortable and have him win games on his own. I think having this primetime game will help too. People who haven't seen us are going to be shocked.

Most everyone jumped us up quite a bit. CBS jumped us 12 spots to 11. We'll be in the top 10 with more than a few after this week I suspect.

On top of it, we leap froged the saints who are now at 13.

I wasn't expecting this.

Welp, they know we're coming now.

    • agree to disagree you are entitled to that opinion even though I find the argument completely bizarre based on data. I could type out a long paragraph discussing those areas but what’s the point. I posted a screenshot that showed Bryce in a similar post snap situation with a free rusher in his face which resulted in a TD - that’s what happened on the play so I posted it.
    • I've already addressed this notion in a previous reply. You are basing your assertion outside reality if you think Bryce would have not only been more successful but defeated the Patriots in place of Herbert. Bryce got blown off the field by that Patriots team with the highest paid OL in the league. We've seen Bryce with an OL that gave up 65 sacks and it resulted in the #1 pick. And that is not a defense of Herbert or arguing he is a great QB in any way. He has physical talent but he has been similar to Darnold early in his career in terms of his very up and down perfomances. However that does not change the fact that they have significantly less invested in the OL than the Panthers.
    • I think Tepper has been setting the stage where pending there is no miracle he wipes it all clean.  Think you already have been told that with small things like Evero staying.  Bryce is the guy next year.  OC, DC, everything stays the same.  QB room largely the same.  Nothing would really matter there.  They basically get one more shot and it goes how the schedule paired with our 27th ranked O predictably most likely goes.  Everyone out the door together.  Bryce is a bridge tier QB.  I don’t see Dave surviving where he could be bridge QB here in reality.
