#8 is a bigger loss than #22.

Ummm I’m gonna go with a no on this. Even on the timelines they are. 22 has methodically been basically half of our offensive production and the only factor in the run game, which in turn has allowed the passing game to open up. Want to see what a season without CMC looks like on offense. Check last season.

We will see. In the past, they would go into a big game on a roll and get beat....throwing the doubt back into the fore front again. A good showing at least will go a long way in confidence building for the young team. They need to (at the very least), play a good game even if they lose.

I know it sounds crazy, but Horn let us do things in defense we couldn't do last year. Maybe CJ Henderson lets us do those same things, maybe. That remains to be seen. If he can't, we might have to revert to the zone heavy scheme that we struggled with last year.

As for CMC, look at last week. Once they got over the gut punch of CMC going out, Carolina's offense went 76, 60, 75 yards for TD, FG, TD.  Darnold took over in way TB never did last year.

We're going to miss them both no doubt. They are both awesome players, but we've largely ridden our defense to 3-0 and I think the JC's impact could be larger depending on what Henderson does.

Unstoppable force, meet immovable object.

The Cowboys have the 3rd lowest pressure rate in the league.  We have one of the meanest pressure D's in the league.

We've seen this story before when we met the Saints line, but they were missing their Center.

This time tho, we' are down one JC Horn and it seems unlikely that CJ will be up to speed enough to be as effective, if he even plays.

If we win this one on the road, without  CMC and CJ, we are a very good team people.

I think this game lets us see where Darnold is. He did well after losing CMC in the middle of the game and did what he needed to do to win. Can he start the game with the defense knowing we don't have CMC and having a game plan specifically for Darnold? I think our defense does well and forces turnovers. BIG day for Robby in my opinion. We shall see. I think it is a win for us.

I think this falls also on Brady and what the GamePlan without CMC is.

Should be interesting to see what happens....

Though if you do recall, Sam did spread the ball out to many other different receivers after CMC left.

I also expect Robby to have a big day but not as a deep threat but as a someone who moves the chains and make himself available for Sam to throw to much like DJ.

Dallas is the best team we have faced by a good margin especially on offense.  I think we will lose this one by a few scores without CMC.  If we somehow win this game it would be an amazing confidence boost to this team.

A little to much to ask with our OL and missing key players but hope I’m wrong
