C J Henderson probably won’t be asked to learn many schemes early on. After all, Horn was a lockdown guy, and Henderson also is capable of handling the side opposite Donte Jackson and/or A.J. Bouye. But as Rhule said, “Be patient with great talents.” So it sounds as if the Panthers are focused on getting the best out of Henderson in the long term.

By the time Horn recovers, the Panthers will have a good handle on Henderson’s capabilities. It shouldn’t be long after that until you see Rhule and Snow use them as CB1 and CB2, and Horn and Henderson could become one of the best cornerback tandems in the NFL.

It was pretty clear there was no groin injury when Rhule said they expected he would play against the Cowboys before he had even arrived in Charlotte and gotten a physical. Only way he could have possibly known that is from the Jags during the trade talks when they likely said there was no injury and they were shutting him down until they could trade him.

I find it interesting that he looks smaller to me compared to Jaycee when we know for a fact they are the exact same height and weight. Might be that he wears bigger shoulder pads so the perspective is off.

Same. Jaycee seems like he has a much more physical presence.

He was on the official injury report with a groin/illness... we figured that was just due to him being involved in trade talks and him practicing right off the bat here confirms that, but he was reported as out for week 3 with a groin injury.

Carolina Panthers (Anish Shroff, Jim Szoke; also rotating analysts including Jake Delhomme, Luke Kuechly, Jordan Gross, Kurt Coleman, Jonathan Stewart, and Kevin Donalley): 2.37 Most common grade: B (32.7% of votes) Percentage of A/B/C grades: 74.0% The Panthers also have many figures listed here, but most are rotating analysts who sometimes join the main team of Shroff and Szoke. There are other times where it’s Shroff with two of these guest analysts, though. This group received 34 Bs out of 104 total votes. The comments here saw a lot of debate over Shroff. One A voter found him “an excellent addition, with the right blend of passion and information” (he’s held this role since 2022), but others were more critical. Lines there included “the weak link; fine for TV, not a good fit for a local radio ‘homer’ role” and “another double-duty announcer working a lot on Fridays in CFB, but light on personality.” Other respondents criticized this overall setup as “too many people” and “too inconsistent.” But there was some praise for Delhomme and Kuechly.       Yeah, I think it's only been there for a little over 10 years or something. I graduated HS in 2000 so there's a poo ton of schools that I'm like "who???"
