well…dallas is a 5pt favorite in this one, so we’re on track again.

Thats the most absurd part of this whole thing.  How can you objectively look at these 2 teams and think that Dallas is 5 points better than us?!?!  Its madness.

Im getting 2013 vs niners and 2015 vs Seahawks vibes about this game sunday.

Yep, big games on a national stage, where we are the underdogs.  I think the results will be the same as well.  We come out on top and show the world that we are for real this year.

They said we're going to have to play very well in order to beat Dallas. You said flat out that we're going to lose. See the difference?

Yeah, but don't forget he was "being honest."

There should be no shame in being honest, and at the same time, dead wrong.

i really objectively don't blame them for being skeptical about how good we are. i think half our fanbase is still holding its breath waiting to see what happens when we face a serious challenger.

I don't blame them for being skeptical about us, but I blame them for NOT being skeptical about the Cowboys. Lol! They believe if they lose to us it's the Cowboys doing what they always do. (losing to an inferior team when they get on a roll) Rich Eisen basically said that if they lose to us they suck and the hype was never real.....

We have never trailed for a moment in this season so far. I am interested in seeing how Darnold plays from behind. Will he stay calm like he did versus the Texans and Saints in our last scoring drives, or will he revert to the guy who threw a "just gonna sit here and stare at the TV WHAT THE HECK did he just do" interception that he threw against the Saints?

As far as worrying about a serious challenger, I'm just holding my breath EVERY SNAP to see if our offensive line can play average/just adequately against any team.

we are also a very good team, and they will have to play well to win. our strength is a little better than their strength. our weakness is a little better than their weakness. i think we have a slight edge, and it will come down to who has a better game plan and who executes better.

I agree, and am shocked that we're even saying that in 2021, in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year hopefully a little better than last season. We should be happy we're even having this debate. Good time to be a Panther's fan.

I mean, we just lost CMC...and we boast a horrible OL that can't open lanes for a standard RB nor likely has the ability to allow Sam much time to throw.

Dallas should be favored.  Basically equates to them being a 2 pt favorite on a neutral field.  That seems fair enough.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
