No Respect for the Panthers - What Cowboys Fans are Saying

You can't really blame them for being cocky, the media are blowing smoke up their arses.

Even Rich Eisen, who's usually pretty even handed, has turned this into a "man the Cowboys are legit and this is the game to show it in" story.

I think it'll be a close game - we'll see where we are on our journey (and how we respond to Horn and McCaffrey being out). Even if we lose we're still 3-1 in the first quarter of the season - I'd always take that.

To be expected. Untill they start whipping better teams, then this is what you will hear. Hopefully the team will show up Sunday and play at a high level.

I still think they need another season to be truly ready to kick some ass and take names on a regular basis. They have improved a great deal this season.

Hello and welcome to this week's edition of "What Fans are Saying". This week we take a look at the Cowboys and what their media hyped delirium is allowing them to believe. Honestly, I haven't seen a more cocky and uneducated fan base in quite some time.

Wait, the Cowboys allowed Hurts to pass for over 300? L O Fuggin L. From the talk on their board I thought they had the rebirth of the 86 Bears defense.

How can you have a trap game against an undefeated team? Fugging idiot.

On the Carolina Panthers defense:

Wintson has looked good in every game so far except against Carolina. Conclusion: Winston has regressed. You could not be more nonsensical. Why not just say every QB that has faced the Panthers has looked awful. That would be more accurate.

Give me a break about the "prolific" offense. Dallas has had 3 games and 2 of them have been against some of the worst defenses in the league. The Cowboys offense is good, but they are not at the level of the Saints in reality. It won't be particularly difficult for the Panthers to dismantle them.

Yeah, that 2015 beat down that ended Romo's career was no biggie. If memory serves, that was also an undefeated Panthers team coming in and being underdogs to an average Cowboys team. Whats that they say about history? Something repeating?

On the Panthers offensive line

Well, yeah, I can't really disagree here. But let me add that Cam Erving is probably the 3rd most exploitable offensive lineman on the team. There are many options for exploitation.

HYPERBOLE ALERT!

This is the game where we see how Sam fares without CMC and whether he legitimizes the decision to trade for him or continues to leave more questions than answers regarding his future here.

(End of Hyperbole Alert)

Considering that the Cowboys had allowed 300+ passing yards in 3 straight games bodes well for Sam (they also only got to the QB and sacked him...just 4 times).

Better teams? I’m not a Cowboys fan but they should be 3-0 if not for terrible calls in Bucs game. They went to west coast and beat a great Chargers team. I’m sorry but this will be our first lost. Just being honest.

I keep going back to them being 26-0 in the Dak Era when they run more than they pass. If they have rushing success, it will be close. I honestly don't believe they will get that. We held Kamara to 5 yards on 8 rushes. (30 yards overall) If they are forced to win by throwing, I don't think they will be within a touchdown at the end. Everyone talks about how we haven't played anyone, but what defense have they played against really? Tampa is not a great pass defense. See RAMS.

Yeah they woulda, coulda, shoulda beat the bucs.

They also woulda, coulda, shoulda lost to the chargers

Dak has never seen a def like this one. Most QBs haven't. It's pretty weak to dismiss this team against anyone at this point.
