CMC will be back soon.

Henderson will have had more than a cup of coffee with the defensive coaches.

YGM will be back in the rotation.

We'll be a lot better coming out of this stretch than you think. 4 out of 5 isn't unlikely, and 5 out of 5 wins is certainly on the table.

We're a good team, we're going to get better.

I'd be happy finishing 3-2 out of that stretch. I think the Vikings are better than their record and will be a tough game, the Falcons are always tough being a division opponent, and the Patriots still have Belichick and have a tough defense. Panthers will probably drop a couple of these games but they are all winnable.

Yeah I think 3-2 is pretty likely and these games are harder than they are on paper.  But if we want to make playoffs I think it's important to take 4 of 5 considering we have @Ariz, @Buffalo, @NO, @Buffalo and TB x2 later in the year.

I wouldn't.

Feel like we should be at least 4-1 if not 5-0 against that lineup.

I think everyone needs to take a chill pill with the expectations. The Panthers are clearly better than last year for sure, but given the mounting injuries and lack of quality opponents so far, the expectations are getting pretty out of control. Winning 8 or 9 games would be a massive improvement for this team.

My expectations aren't super high.

But those teams are crap.

If we can't get Paradis playing better we are going to be in serious trouble I think. He's the weakest link in that line right now. Now if Brady starts running our offense like it's the 2 minute drill, that might help. I'd be good with 14-16 play drives. Sam does better on quick rhythm. We need to use that.

Just need CMC back, and a plan of how to play effectively with him out.

When he's in there, it's a much different game plan for the defenses.

Chubba wasn't going to scare them, Moore got his, Sam missed Robby a couple times, had we hit those deep, they were gonna back off quick.  We ran up against a better team, on the road, with the refs being more than a little forgiving toward the home team.

I think we are a good team, I think Dallas may be very good.

Mr. Scot, I'd expect more from you. Gotta look at the games those teams have played to know the real story.

The Eagles, I tend to agree but they're no pushover. They have an offense that can score. But their defense is beatable. Should be a 1 TD Panthers win IMO.

The Vikings are definitely not crap. They've had a tough schedule. They lost in OT to an improved Bengals team, and were a stupid missed FG away from beating a very good Cardinals team. They're extremely close to being 3-1. They also have a win against the Seahawks. The Vikings are the toughest game on the upcoming schedule.

Giants are a game I'd be livid if the Panthers lost. Should be a 2-3 score Panthers win.

The Falcons on the road, it's a divisional game and that's always a tossup in my book. Panthers haven't exactly had great luck against Matt Ryan over the years.

Belichick is still around for the Patriots and their defense is talented. Not a gimme game.

If the Panthers finish 3-2 through that stretch I'd be thrilled. Get CMC back for the run with the really tough games.

Usually Josh McDaniels is an idiot but once he switched Mac Jones to running the spread offense against a decimated Bucs secondary, their offense actually looked decent. I think Darnold could benefit from running an offense like that sometimes.

    • Regardless of how we got here, any rational fan should be excited by how well Bryce played down the stretch. Anyone not happy about that level of play either doesn't know what they're looking at, or they're still trying to drive tired narratives. Obviously, Cam had an all-time rookie season, and I'm not putting the two in the same basket yet, but as someone who has watched every snap of Panthers football since the start of the new millennium (Im old), Bryce was playing at a higher level at the end of 2024 than Cam was at the end of 2012 (his 2nd season). Cam continued to develop into MVP form, something Bryce has to prove, but as someone who watched both (and will stan for Cam always), Bryce was playing at a higher level to end year 2 than Cam did.  Go watch the film if you dont believe me. None of that means anything for the future. But the people who said BY9 couldnt play in this league are wrong.   That being said, the only thing that matters is this year. #20 is perfectly fair IMO going into the season. I mean think about it, how would you rank him??!  His in-season turnaround is one of the wildest things I've ever seen... how do you rank a guy who looked like a massive bust in September and by January was consistently playing at a top 10 level? My excitement level is pretty damn high heading into this season. There were throws from the Chiefs game onward where Bryce had Drew Brees levels of anticipation. Im excited to see what he can do with a full deck on offense, something we really never gave Cam. Really hope and expect Bryce to move up this list this season.
    • Not really, the only QB's (other than Anthony Richardson) ranked below him are new to their teams as a placeholder starter or drafted in 2024 or 2025, not a lot of gymnastics to get there. It's not about how many that is, if it's 20, 12, or 2... It means there isn't a QB who's team has committed to them for the long term right now that they have ranked below Bryce. That's not a great thing.
    • The changes to onside kicks were ridiculous and ruined a significant part of the game     It was already a high risk low reward play.  Why change it?
