What game were these people watching? Moore had his way with him. Darnold overthrew would would have been a 50 yard catch and later under threw another one while getting hit, both time Diggs was in coverage. Even in that Diggs int Marshall was wide open.

DJ Moore did whatever he wanted to do.

Sam’s first pick was just a dumb throw.  Despite the announcers saying it was to Anderson I felt it was actually to Marshall.  But that wasn’t so much a great defensive play but Darnold being bad.   One of those trademark Charles Godfrey type INTs.  You just happen to be where a bad ball was coming.

2nd INT was a good play on the ball.   Credit there.  But again, that wasn’t to DJ.

Diggs had a great day and he's having a heck of a season. Can't take that away from him.

Once he left the field, we marched at will. That's something Dallas should be looking at this week. The rest of their coverage is pretty suspect.

26-39, 66% completions, 301 yds, 2 TD, 2 INT for Darnold. Remove the Diggs stats from above: 24-32, 75%, 267, 2 TD and that's while under massive pressure. One guy did their heavy lifting.

Take away the 2 garbage time TD Moore still owned him. Should of had over 150 yards in the first half if it wasn’t for errant throws

The media aren't pushing a DJ vs Diggs narrative at all.

They are saying Diggs played well.  This is true.

It's equally true that Moore played well.  8 catches, 113 yards and 2 TD's?  Not sure what else he could have been asked to do.

The two facts are not mutually exclusive.

Ponder this Panthers fans.  DJ Moore is currently on track to catch 120 balls for 1600 yards and 12 TD's.  At that point, there will be no hiding from the fact that DJ is a #1, and a top notch #1 at that.  Those stats are Stefon Diggs / Tyreek Hill / Justin Jefferson numbers.  Yes please.

There was a top 25 WR list on nfl.com this offseason that completely left DJ off the list. The NFL doesn't really care about the Panthers or their players.

I guessed you missed the tweets I posted. But yeah Diggs is extremely lucky Darnold didn’t hit those plays Moore had him beat all game long

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
