Lol just a few days ago you were saying how much the eagles and all the teams on the panthers schedule were crap

As an overall team they are (especially when it comes to coaching) but they do have a good defensive line and we now have some key injuries.

Mind you, I'm still picking us to win, but the path is a little harder than it was before.

BC has had an entire offseason and 5 weeks added to the years he played LT at school. We can scheme, we can give him help but it's time to see what he has. At worst we have Scott out there being a backup if he fails.

Maybe don't count on injury prone players? IDK, seems kind of obvious if you have that kind of information, which absolutely was out there when we signed the 2 big oline free agent duds.

I mean we're talking about a third round pick from a lesser college program starting his first pro game just five weeks into his rookie season at a position he's really only spent a few days practicing full time.

If he has an average game by pro standards, I'll be thrilled out of my mind.

Did we see him play some snaps at LT in preseason?

You really need to stop saying things like this people want to win. Come down off the cross already.

For someone who spent all summer telling folks to play nice. This is a pretty disrespectful post.

C'mon Dr. Phil. You need to be better than this.

Aren't they both speculating?

I saw the press conference, Rhule didn't name a starter.

I watched Rhule’s presser as well.  And agree he didn’t mention this.

BUT.   The way those 2 separate beat writers worded this,  it didn’t sound speculative.  It sounded sure.

IS set to.

Set to.

there is no May etc in their wording.  Maybe they know something that we don’t.  They have their sources.  And maybe they know/heard something that Rhule hasn’t announced.

I don't recall any but LT is the only position he played for 3 years at BYU. He looked alright at RT in the preseason, but apparently has been taking reps at LT this whole week. Either way he's a 25 yr old rookie with a full offseason and 4 weeks of in season practice so he either has what it takes or he's a career backup

I'd be lying if I'm not fearing a 2014 Eagles fiasco which is in the running for all-time worst O-line performances I've ever seen.

We were down our LG the last 2 weeks, and gave up 8 sacks.  This week we are down our starting LT and LG.

It sounds like at least one rookie is playing.

Hopefully he'll rise to the occasion.

Christensen has played 23 snaps in four games, 19 on special teams and 4 at T.

Newtons a moron I think he's referring to Brady taking a few LG snaps in the Saints game. Unless we had multiple T's on a couple plays

    • Tmac= Slant boy 25 Renfrow= if 2021 maybe the best for dinkin Hubbard= found his hands in 25 Dowdle= great Rb hands Sanders= better catcher than blocker Horn/Tremay/Tremble/whoever get snaps= more than able to run short quick routes or stand in a spot close to LOS. Coker= should be able to add to the group That's plenty my friend along with two RBs with good hands. I know Dave is not Payton and BY isn't Brejesus. This group can pull off a Chinese copy of it tho......
    • The fact that we're STILL questioning if he should be starting is all that needs to be said.   If this week doesn't turn out well, the boiling point could hit soon.  Don't think 0-3 does it, but it could be soon.  Considering our schedule, it may happen if things fall off the rails.   We have 3 winnable games by week 9.  If we're just sitting 2-7 or 1-8 after the Packers game, that would be near the end point of this situation in its entirety.    It took what, a 1-10 start to can Reich in his first year?  I think a 1-8 start to Bryce in his 3rd would be reasonable to politely end his tenure in Carolina.
    • Pressure or no pressure Bryce Young does not have the arm talent to consistently threaten defenses and open up the whole field. We have seen this throughout his 32 career starts. The Jaguars defense in week 1 only blitzed on 20% of Bryce Young's dropbacks and they still imposed their will and forced 3 turnovers from Bryce Young. I can present you information but if you choose to ignore it and what you are seeing with your own two eyes you are beyond help.
