They are competent but their not elite. They have been exposed the last 2 weeks and especially in this second half.

Again, what do you expect when they are on the field so often thanks to the shitty offense. If the offense makes something out of any of those turnovers or at least has an extended drive to give the D a breather things would be different. Instead they poo the bed forcing the D to come back out again. Sooner or later regardless of how bad the other offense is playing something is going to hapen.

The thing is that the PanthersonhItn

are in the same h tunobeclass as those teams. It's only year 2 of the rebuild. All the talk about playoffs was way too premature.

Not having the best player in the nfl active has a pretty big impact. Panthers at full strength are certainly a playoff team. But no Christian, no horn, no Thompson.. having 3x the turnovers and barely losing…

1st INT one of the guards got pushed right in front of him as he threw it. Couldn't step forward on the throw.

2nd INT was bad because he threw to the wrong side of DJ. 3rd INT was bad also, but when you are behind the sticks because Miller is utterly worthless, you are going to have to take a chance.

Lesson of the story is someone needs to take a baseball bat to John Miller and end his career. I think putting a WR at RG couldn't be any worse.

Honestly, whether he could step up into it or not, that first throw was just a bad decision.  DJ was bracketed.  Now, he may have forced it because he's comfortable with DJ and is feeling pressure before it's there so he just tried it, but none of them should've been thrown, imo.

That being said, I 100%, completely agree with you on John Miller.  I dont just want him benched, I want him released.  I dont give a flying poo...  there is absolutely no way Jordan or Brown could be worse than this guy.  Promote both of them and get Miller off of this fuging roster.

Barely losing? The Eagles came from behind and took the win away from the Panthers. Even at full strength, the Panthers are not a playoff team. The Oline is too bad and some of us said they shouldn't have signed Erving and Elf on the first day of free agency. Even fully healthy, the Oline didn't look good.

Sam is probably not the long term answer at QB either. I said when Sam was traded for, he should get this chance they are giving him. Early returns were promising, but he has looked pretty bad the more games are played. Like David Carr all those years ago, maybe Sam's time in NY ruined him as a starter.

CMC wasn't going to stop that poo show today.  Hubbard played and ran well.  Darnold played like poo, OL played like poo, and the defense fuging folded like a lawn chair bought off the top of a grocery store freezer.

    • I am gonna believe it wasn’t us if the 4th round pick price is accurate. We needed 225 points to get from 19 to their pick. 875 at 19 to 1100 at 14.  Our 2026 4th was valued at 56 points I think. A future 4th has less value. So that wasn’t close to enough.    It would have taken our third and our fourth. Comes within a point of even.    Now, moving to their spot in the second round we could have done but after Miami took Rodriguez why would we?
    • Yep,and Blake Miller have had more experiences than Freeling,Lions did not sigh a vet T like Walker,so they had to pick Miller.
    • I mean it's expected.  This is the NBA.  And they hate the Charlotte Hornets.  Flagg was also the guy "magically" given to the Mavs who lost Luca to the wildly popular Lakers.  Was always an uphill battle.  But the award is BS since it's not voted on before play-in starts. Kon probably lost because of the play-in as many people switched votes.  It was a regular season award, so this is some nonsense.  Kon also didn't have the luxury of taking 10 games off to rest up injuries like Flagg did.  If he did, he wouldn't have been nursing his back the last month.  I mean, screw him for being on an actual playoff team that matters.  Flagg took tons of shots a game, he was wildly inefficient.  Kon was a huge reason the Hornets made the play-in and turned the season around after Jan.   I think Flagg will probably be the better player long term, or at least the most impact.  But Kon should have won ROTY.
