I don’t like that part about Gilmore at all…are they seriously not sure if he’ll be healthy this year?

The more I hear and think about it, the more I believe it was a way of converting a 6th round pick into a (hopefully) 3rd, 4th, 5th round comp pick. If he contributes this y, it's gravy.

Lack of consistent pass rush from Brian Burns

"Brian and I talked about that yesterday. The flow of the game and the things they're doing, he just hasn't had the opportunity like Haason [Reddick] has. Based on formation and backfield sets, and those types of things. I think his productivity will get better as we go. I looked into that and watched the tapes. I don't think it's anything Brian is doing."

I'm more concerned with Reddick getting cut out of the play 50% of the times, more than the lack of pass rush from Burns.
And that's because what he's being tasked to do, doesn't play to Reddick skillset.

if thats how it plays out and they wind up getting a 3rd they will have paid 5.7 mil to move up 3 rounds in the draft.  thank goodness for Teppers many many Bs.

    • When you look closely at the play it was careless from Melo but bang bang full speed I don’t think it was intentional or dirty or deserving of a foul. Bam’s off balance momentum was already carrying him towards a fall and even if Melo didn’t touch him it may have had the exact same outcome. And honestly I think he did try to sell it more when he felt LaMelo’s hand. Dudes arms flopped back instead of bracing for the fall. Sucks he got hurt but a suspension would be ridiculous and an awful look for the league. Fine and move on
    • Sure but it literally would be benching him lol, and it would kill his confidence. He’ll get back in a rhythm, kid just had an all time great rookie season and led the league in 3s, you gotta stick with him as starter. But yeah I’m all for getting some more lineups throughout the game with Coby and Melo   and yeah Miles’ block and Coby and others jumping him in celebration was fuging epic
    • I would’ve used the timeout on that inbounds before the turnover and Melo’s late foul but yeah otherwise I can’t blame Lee, the players just didn’t execute as well as they should have, but obviously did enough to get it done
