Where are you at in the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross stage of grief

It’s not so much that they’re  bad. Bad teams can still inspire hope. It’s that they’re completely inept top to bottom. The talent is there(except the oline) but I have no faith these coaches can or will learn from their mistakes and change it up. We’ll see a performance exactly like this next week

Its called........trolling

A troll is Internet slang for a person who intentionally tries to instigate conflict, hostility, or arguments in an online social community. ... Trolls often use inflammatory messages to provoke emotional responses out of people, disrupting otherwise civil discussion.

I am at acceptance

Accepted that Matt Rhule is not going to pan out as an NFL HC, nice RaRa guy but best served coaching college B talent teams like Syracuse, Connecticut, WVU and lead them to the Dominos Pizza Bowl at 7-5

Accepted that Joe Brady is not the next version of Sean McVay, that he is more like the offensive version of Matt Patricia, supposedly smart but just frustrating. He needs to take a step back and work with an experienced NFL OC for game day calling/adjustments

Accepted that Sam Darnold isn't Cam Newton but isn't Jeff Lewis, he is basically a PREMIUM version of a JAG

Accepted that without a competent o-line investment, this team will never get far

Accepted that we won't be in the playoffs this year

Accepted that the Robby Anderson extension may be the worst extension in team history not named Charles Godfrey

Accepted that this team will for at least one more season be the Carolina McCaffrey's

Accepted that I going to go to the games regardless, cheer, enjoy a cold beer, not get worked up over it and realize it is just a game

Acceptance!!!

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
