Why we will upset on Sunday

So let me get this straight, our mess of a team who’s offense will be led by either PJ Walker or Matt Barkley will upset a Cardinals team that has lost one game.

Even with Murray not playing and some defensive stars out we have no chance and I’m ok with that. Let’s not win enough games to get us stuck in the middle of the draft.

Sunday is November 14 ...

Carolina is 13-5 all-time (including playoffs) vs. Arizona - Carolina can get it's 14th win vs. AZ on the 14th - with QB #14 (yes, #14 will start, and rebound)

Also, it's week 10 - Rhule can pick up 10th win as Panthers Head Coach

Jacksonville got their 9th win all-time vs. Buffalo in week 9

Carolina's rotation number this week is 257 - the 55th prime number, signaling we'll become 5-5

that sounds about right nicolas cage GIF by Saturday Night Live

Realistically, got to see who the Cardinals put on the field to predict final scores at this point.   I mean, no Murray, Nuk, Edmonds, etc? Defense having a great game paired with a wildcat might could keep the score down.

But I do expect Sam to be trotted back out so I guess they will have to let him pass at some point after AZ builds a lead.    And then, well, we all know what happens at that point.

Didn’t we have this same thinking against the Giants?  That didn’t turn out well.

    • No doubt Young had a great game but a big part of that success was because of his receivers (and by receiver I mean anyone who caught a pass). Young passed for a record 458 yards but 250 of those yard came after the catch so he had a lot of help. Tremble turned a 5 yard pass into a 54 yard reception putting them into FG position for the win Dowdle took a 3 yard pass and turned it into a 32 yard reception putting them in position for a TD  pass from Young to TMac TMac took a 15 yard dig route and turned it into a 39 yard gain. Legette took a 5 yard pass in the flat and turned it into a 20 yard reception. More importantly, he ran a go route and unlike the previous week where he made a half hearted, feeble attempt at catching it, he extended out and grab it for a 37 yard TD reception this time. Cooker only had 5 passes his way but caught every single one averaging 13 yards/catch and he caught the 2 point conversion. Evans caught a 25 yard pass on a 3rd down. Sanders caught a 10 yard pass on a 4th - 4.  Again, Bryce played a great game. He was poised, looked comfortable and more importantly, consistency made the correct read to exploit the defense. But the receiver group played just as well and I would argue made him look great.  I am a Bryce Young fan and have gotten a lot of slack around here for attributing some of his struggles to the receivers youth and lack of experience.  Not today - they were fantastic and I just wanted to make sure they got the recognition they deserved.
    • To be fair, in January he said that win bought Bryce like another 10 years.
    • Rams about to get Falcons top-10 pick next year. Seemed like a stupid trade on daft day now it's disastrous
