Boy you can't fix Sam it's in his genes. I don't  know what they saw in him. College was good but NFL is another level. Playing in the SEC counts now days.

With the joke of an offensive line, this years Panthers team is going nowhere. Obtaining Cam Newton is an upgrade at the postion but if he is capable of getting us  a couple more wins it will only hurt our chance in the draft.

While i wish Cam good luck, i cannot see that his signing will be beneficial to the Panthers in the long run.

The odds are not in his favor for sure.  Fairytale endings are rare in life and even rarer in football.

The Panthers are not winning a championship this year no matter who is quarterback. You are delusional.

Sam's always been able to string a few good games together before whatever is going on in his head catches up to him... Backup role would fit that... He's supposedly a great locker room guy... And I do think most of his teammates respect his toughness and desire to win for them, even tho now it's obvious he can't do that across a season.

We could do worse with a backup tbh... As we've shown 🤦

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
