Very good news. No setbacks in his recovery. It’ll still be a while before he could come back and depending how the next few weeks go he may not come back this year. But if we can somehow string together some wins we could really use Jaycee. Horn would’ve easily shadowed McLauren and gotten us a W against the Skins

Gilmore could’ve done that as well, after Donte was roasted I don’t know why we we didn’t make that adjustment.  But no doubt, having Jaycee back would be a huge boon if we don’t continue shitting the bed

He is a rookie and a CB, if he is healthy he should play. No rush but 100% get reps in if possible.

Great news, hope he keeps trending that way. I would love to see him  out there with Gilmore. We could finally have 2 great man CBs on the field at the same time! That's not something I could have imagined 3 years ago.

Screw that, if he's ready get his ass in there.

Has Silver Platter Sam been seen any time recently?

Broken feet become chronic. Just ask Olsen. It’s beneficial to take more time than needed to let the foot fully heal rather than rush back for a losing season.

It's either healed, it it's not.

I'm not a buyer of this "sit out the season" bullshit and his presence could make the difference in a playoff berth or not.

Charles Johnson recently went on WFNZ and dumped all over the "sit out" narrative...said the players aren't down with it and teammates will think less of a guy who takes that route.

Yeah.it doesn’t make sense with a lot of season left.  If not fully healed or could be re-injured then it makes sense but if the bones are good to go then work him back in.

    • Redeemed ourselves with a solid middle to end the night....
    • This is spot on, with the first 5 years of a QBs contract being so pivotal, as it should, unless you have Pat Mahomes or the reincarnation of Tom Brady, stats shows once the qb gets paid, the teams Super Bowl chances shrink significantly  what we did to get Bryce was idiotic to say the least, not because of the player(not a Bryce endorsement) but because there’s a long history of proof, making big swings at qb, are usually big misses  find the identify, build around that, and go from there. Unfortunately we don’t have one, and neither the defense nor offense side of the ball are more than good at best
    • Seems like a loaded EDGE class. though I think we don't spend a premium pick there with Scourton/Princely showing production and potential.  Concepcion at 19 is intriguing and seen ARSB comps with his shiftiness, high IQ and YAC ability. He and TMac would be a nasty 1-2 combo at stretching a defense. Brenan Thompson could be that day 2 speedy/slot guy that could boost his draft stock in Mobile.  Sam Hecht could be a later selection for C depending on how we are planning to attack that position in FA and our own previous guys. Shelton from PSU is an interesting developmental tackle that if he can get locked into an NFL strength program and rock up, could be good down the road. Speaking of PSU, Dani Dennis Sutton was a guy last year I was big on and was bummed he headed back to Happy Valley. I think he can be a helluva NFL player, and if he can show improvement in his pass rush moves, I wouldn't be mad at him in a trade-back situation.
