Everyone wants to talk about Cam’s shoulder / zip / velocity

 

 What about Cam’s ability to shake defenders? In years past he’d scramble in the pocket to get that extra couple of seconds to get a pass off. I’m just not seeing that anymore, any hint of pressure in the backfield and he’s down.

 

 That ability and his scrambling ability made him a legitimate dual threat, it was what made Cam the QB the world knew

 

 look at the gif here, he looked bigger/stronger where now he looks a bit leaner

he definitely looks leaner, but i wouldn't be surprised if that was an intentional choice. 

it's just difficult for someone that size to keep that mass on and not have a bunch of nagging injuries. Zion Williamson is an obvious example of this. Roethlisberger is a different example of this because he stayed by just getting fat. 

I doubt it's effected his arm strength though as that is more structural than a question of mass moving mass.

Also I too can't believe he's not 25 anymore, I figured uniquely he'd stay young forever.

      While I hated keeping Rhule, I thought if he still kept sucking, it would be an easy path to number 1. Firing him 5 games into the season then winning meaningless games just made it worse. We weren't making a deep run even if we made the wildcard with a losing record. That whole season was pointless, but at least I was optimistic an owner with 1/4 of a brain couldn't muck it up. Ahhh Dave....
