Brady wants to stay in the NFL..

Gonna really suck if he ends up elsewhere and has great success just further cementing that Rhule is the problem. Brady's first NFL OC gig was undeniably a flop but the guy was given trash to work with at QB and OL and by the time we brought Cam back, Rhule had already dictated that the entire offensive gameplan be revamped into what was basically no longer Brady's offense.

Gonna be interesting to see how much NFL interest he gets. If he's a hot name with multiple interviews that confirms that the rest of the NFL basically knows that Rhule is trash. Something I suspect is already a prevalent view.

He is so young and I do think he could develop into a good coach, it just looks like it's going to take some time and a lot more experience. No idea what his ceiling is but he never came close to ot here.

It will be interesting to see where he goes and in what position. He doesn't look ready for OC but he could slide under a mentor and be ready in a few years for try 2.

After being such a bust initially, I'm sure the dude wants to redeem himself.  He's proven himself in college, so why go back there?  However, if he has another rough stint in the NFL, expect him to go back to the college ranks with his tails between his legs.

He really didn't prove himself in college. He wasn't allowed to call any plays and just designed the passing game offense for the LSU OC. He has creative ideas no doubt but his play selection pretty much stunk.

    • I encourage you to go back and watch his college play. Notice how he immediately backpedals to 10 yards behind the LOS on almost every snap. You can't do that in the NFL. Your OTs have no chance of keeping those freak show edge rushers off of you. You can't create a pocket that deep. Bryce can chuck it when he has an airport runway in front of him to step up into. There's a reason why "ease of creating velocity" is such a talking point evaluating QBs. It's not how hard or how far you can throw the ball given a perfect situation. It's how hard and how far you can throw the ball in a typical NFL game situation and that's where a lot of my concerns with Bryce were going into the draft. There were way too many plays in his college tape that if you were watching that purely in terms of translating it to the NFL it just didn't work.
    • Yeah, like I said I get it. From a revenue perspective I'm not a good customer for them. They've probably intentionally tanked offline franchise mode to try to get people online. Again, not a terrible strategy from a pure business perspective. I can't really be mad at them for doing what's good for business but yeah, from my perspective it still sucks.
    • Ok let me be more specific. Smith was a stud before Newton got here do you not agree? Yes, LaFell improved under Cam but then had his best years after leaving the Panthers with Cam as the QB and going to NE. So he improved playing with someone else. Olsen was in Chicage the year before Cam arrived and statistically had the same numbers his first year with Cam.  Hope that's clearer for you.
